Perfect White Rice (Fluffy & Simple) 🍚✨
A basic staple you can pair with almost anything!
📝 Ingredients:
- 1 cup white rice (basmati or any long-grain)
- 2 cups water
- ½ tsp salt (optional)
- 1 tsp oil or butter (optional)
👩🍳 Instructions:
1. Rinse the Rice
- Wash rice 2–3 times until water runs clearer (removes extra starch)
2. Boil
- Add rice, water, salt, and oil to a pot
- Bring to a boil
3. Simmer
- Reduce heat to low
- Cover and cook for 12–15 minutes
4. Rest
- Turn off heat and let sit covered for 5 minutes
5. Fluff & Serve
- Use a fork to fluff the rice
