📝 Ingredients:
- 500–700g chicken breasts or thighs
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2–3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 cup chicken broth
- ½ cup heavy cream or cream cheese
- 2 tbsp butter or olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp dried thyme or Italian herbs
- Optional: ¼ cup white wine or marsala wine
👩🍳 Instructions:
1. Prep Ingredients
- Slice mushrooms and onions.
- Mince garlic.
- Season chicken with salt and pepper.
2. Add to Crockpot
- Place chicken at the bottom.
- Add mushrooms, onions, and garlic.
- Pour chicken broth (and wine if using) over the top.
3. Cook
- Low: 6–7 hours
- High: 3–4 hours
4. Finish with Cream
- Stir in cream or cream cheese for a rich, creamy sauce.
- Adjust salt and pepper to taste.
5. Serve
- Spoon sauce over chicken
- Garnish with parsley
- Pair with rice, mashed potatoes, or pasta
