Stuffed Shells with Ground Beef 🍝

🧾 Ingredients
- 20–25 jumbo pasta shells
- 1 lb (450g) ground beef
- 1 small onion (finely chopped)
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1½ cups ricotta cheese
- 1½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese (divided)
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt & pepper (to taste)
- Fresh parsley (optional)
👩🍳 Instructions
1. Cook the pasta
- Boil the shells in salted water until al dente.
- Drain and let them cool.
2. Prepare the beef filling
- In a pan, cook ground beef with chopped onion until browned.
- Add garlic, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
- Cook for another minute, then remove from heat.
3. Mix the cheese filling
- In a bowl, combine ricotta, egg, Parmesan, and 1 cup mozzarella.
- Stir in the cooked beef mixture.
4. Stuff the shells
- Fill each shell with the beef-cheese mixture.
5. Assemble
- Spread 1 cup marinara sauce in a baking dish.
- Arrange stuffed shells on top.
- Pour remaining sauce over them and sprinkle remaining mozzarella.
6. Bake
- Cover with foil and bake at 375°F (190°C) for 25 minutes.
- Remove foil and bake another 10 minutes until bubbly and golden.
