Here’s a simple and delicious Strawberry Flan Jello recipe — creamy, fruity, and perfect as a chilled dessert:


🧾 Ingredients (6–8 servings)

For the jello layer:

  • 1 package (3 oz / 85 g) strawberry-flavored gelatin (jello)
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 cup cold water

For the flan (custard) layer:

  • 1 can (14 oz / 400 g) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 can (12 oz / 360 ml) evaporated milk
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Optional garnish:

  • Fresh strawberries
  • Whipped cream

🥄 Instructions

  1. Prepare the strawberry jello layer:
    • Dissolve the strawberry gelatin in 1 cup boiling water, stirring until fully dissolved.
    • Add 1 cup cold water, mix, and pour into a mold or serving dish.
    • Chill in the refrigerator until firm (about 1–2 hours).
  2. Prepare the flan layer:
    • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
    • In a blender or bowl, mix sweetened condensed milk, evaporated milk, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.
  3. Combine layers:
    • Once the jello layer is firm, gently pour the flan mixture over it.
    • Place the mold in a larger baking dish filled with hot water (water bath) to prevent cracking.
  4. Bake the flan layer:
    • Bake for 40–50 minutes, until the flan is set but still slightly jiggly in the center.
    • Remove from oven and let cool to room temperature, then chill for at least 2 hours.
  5. Serve:
    • To unmold, dip the bottom of the mold briefly in warm water, then invert onto a plate.
    • Garnish with fresh strawberries or whipped cream if desired.

  • Pour the flan layer slowly over the jello to avoid breaking the jello.
  • You can substitute strawberry gelatin with any flavor you like.
  • For extra creaminess, add a little cream cheese or whipped cream to the flan mixture.
