Here’s a simple and flavorful steak marinade that works for ribeye, sirloin, flank, or any cut of steak. 🥩✨


Ingredients (for 2–4 steaks):

  • ½ cup olive oil
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar or red wine vinegar
  • 2–3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon brown sugar or honey (optional, for slight sweetness)
  • Optional: ½ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes or paprika for extra flavor

Instructions:

  1. Combine ingredients: In a bowl or resealable plastic bag, whisk together all ingredients.
  2. Add steak: Place steaks in the marinade, making sure they’re fully coated.
  3. Marinate: Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, ideally 2–4 hours. For tougher cuts (like flank or skirt steak), you can marinate up to 8 hours.
  4. Cook: Remove steak from marinade, pat dry, and cook on grill, skillet, or oven to desired doneness.
  5. Optional finishing: Let steak rest 5 minutes before slicing against the grain.

Tips:

  • Don’t over-marinate: Acidic ingredients like vinegar or citrus can start breaking down the meat if left too long, making it mushy.
  • Pat dry before cooking: Helps to get a nice sear and crust on the steak.
