So we can put this egg debate to rest! Eggs on top were boiled with salt in the water. TOTAL DISASTER, to the point where I couldn’t use them for deviled eggs. Bottom eggs were boiled with salt AND a healthy dump of baking soda in the water. I barely had to crack the shells and they just slipped right off! I hope this can help someone for Christmas if you are doing deviled eggs.

Ah, this is a classic egg-peeling hack! Here’s a polished, clear version of your tip for anyone making deviled eggs: 🥚✨

So, let’s settle the egg debate once and for all!

  • Top eggs: Boiled with just salt in the water. TOTAL disaster—peeling was impossible. Couldn’t even use them for deviled eggs. 😩
  • Bottom eggs: Boiled with salt AND a healthy dump of baking soda in the water. The shells practically slipped right off—no fighting, no cracks.

💡 Pro tip: This works wonders if you’re making deviled eggs for Christmas or any holiday. Your eggs will peel perfectly every time!

If you want, I can also make a short, punchy version you could post in the comments that’ll immediately grab attention and help other cooks. Do you want me to do that?
