Smoked Chicken Wings

🍗 Smoked Chicken Wings

Smoked chicken wings are juicy, smoky, and packed with flavor—crispy outside, tender inside.


đź§ľ Ingredients

  • 1 kg chicken wings
  • 1–2 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika (smoked paprika if possible)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp chili powder (optional)
  • Optional: BBQ sauce or hot sauce for glazing

🔥 Instructions

1. Prep the wings

  • Pat wings dry (important for crisp texture)
  • Toss with oil and all spices
  • Let sit 30 minutes (or overnight for deeper flavor)

2. Smoke the wings

  • Preheat smoker to 110–135°C (225–275°F)
  • Place wings on rack with space between them
  • Smoke for 1.5 to 2 hours

3. Crisp them up (optional but recommended)

  • Increase heat to 200°C (400°F) OR
  • Finish on a grill or in an oven for 10–15 minutes

4. Sauce (optional)

  • Toss wings in BBQ sauce, buffalo sauce, or honey garlic sauce
  • Or serve dry with dip

  • Coleslaw 🥗
  • Fries 🍟
  • Ranch or garlic dip

  • Dry wings = crispier skin
  • Wood chips like hickory or apple add great flavor
  • Don’t overcrowd the smoker
