Sausage cream cheese crescent

Here’s an easy, crowd-favorite recipe for sausage cream cheese crescent rolls 🥐✨


Ingredients (Makes ~16 pieces)

  • 1 lb sausage (breakfast or mild/spicy)
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cans refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • Optional: shredded cheddar cheese (½–1 cup)

Instructions

  1. Cook the sausage
    • In a skillet over medium heat, cook sausage until browned and fully cooked.
    • Drain excess grease.
  2. Mix filling
    • Lower heat and add cream cheese to the sausage.
    • Stir until melted and well combined.
    • (Optional) Mix in shredded cheddar for extra cheesy flavor.
  3. Prepare crescents
    • Unroll crescent dough and separate into triangles.
  4. Fill and roll
    • Place a spoonful of the sausage mixture onto the wide end of each triangle.
    • Roll up toward the point and place on a baking sheet.
  5. Bake
    • Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 12–15 minutes, or until golden brown.
  6. Serve
    • Let cool slightly and serve warm.

Tips

  • Add diced jalapeños for a spicy kick 🌶️
  • Sprinkle everything bagel seasoning on top before baking
  • Great for breakfast, snacks, or party appetizers
