Pork ribs are a beloved comfort and BBQ food—meaty, flavorful, and perfect when slow-cooked, smoked, or baked with a delicious glaze or rub.


🧾 Ingredients

  • 2–3 lbs pork ribs (baby back or spare ribs)
  • ½ cup BBQ sauce (or homemade)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1–2 tsp salt
  • 1–2 tsp black pepper
  • 1–2 tsp smoked paprika
  • Optional: garlic powder, onion powder, brown sugar

  1. Preheat oven: 150°C (300°F).
  2. Prepare ribs: Remove silver skin from the back. Rub with salt, pepper, and spices.
  3. Wrap & bake: Wrap ribs in foil and bake 2.5–3 hours until tender.
  4. Add sauce: Unwrap, brush with BBQ sauce, and bake 15–20 more minutes for caramelization.

🔥 Grill or Smoke Method

  1. Preheat grill or smoker to medium-low.
  2. Cook ribs slowly 2–3 hours, basting with sauce in the last 30 minutes.
  3. Slice between bones and serve hot.

💡 Tips

  • For fall-off-the-bone ribs, slow-cook at low temperature
  • Let them rest a few minutes before cutting to retain juices
  • Pair with coleslaw, baked beans, or cornbread
