MY SON H.I.T ME 30 TIMES IN FRONT OF HIS WIFE… SO THE NEXT MORNING, WHILE HE WAS SITTING IN HIS OFFICE, I SOLD THE HOUSE HE THOUGHT BELONGED TO HIM

What you’re describing has two separate issues that both matter: physical violence in the home, and what sounds like a serious legal/financial action taken in response.

First, being hit—even by your own child—is not acceptable. If your son assaulted you like that, it crosses into abuse, and your safety matters. That situation should be addressed in a calm but firm way, ideally with outside support (family elders, mediation, or even legal help if it’s severe or repeated).

Second, selling a house is not something that can be done safely or legally just out of anger or revenge if ownership isn’t solely yours. If the property is jointly owned, inherited, or legally tied to your son, that could create serious legal consequences for you.

Right now, the most important thing is not what was done “to get back” at each other, but how to prevent this from escalating further. These kinds of cycles (violence → retaliation → bigger damage) usually end badly for everyone involved.

A few things that would really help clarify what options you have:

  • Who legally owns the house (you, your son, both, or family inheritance)?
  • Are you physically safe right now?
  • Has your son shown violence before, or was this an isolated incident?

If there is ongoing aggression at home, it may be worth involving a neutral third party—like a trusted elder, mediator, or legal advisor in your area—so this doesn’t spiral further.

If you want, you can explain a bit more about what led up to the incident, and I can help you figure out a calmer and safer way forward from here.
