Mix garlic with milk and you will thank me

That combo might sound unusual, but it’s actually a real traditional remedy in some cultures 😄—often called garlic milk.


🧄🥛 Garlic + Milk (What it is)

A warm drink made by simmering garlic in milk. It’s been used in home remedies for things like:

  • Coughs & colds 🤧
  • Digestion support
  • Boosting immunity
  • Helping with sleep

👩‍🍳 How to Make It

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup milk
  • 2–3 cloves garlic (crushed)
  • Optional: honey or a pinch of turmeric

Steps:

  1. Add garlic to milk
  2. Simmer on low heat for 5–10 minutes
  3. Strain (optional)
  4. Add honey if you want it sweeter
  5. Drink warm

🤔 What It Tastes Like

  • Creamy with a strong garlic kick
  • Much milder than raw garlic, but still noticeable

⚠️ Good to Know

  • It’s a home remedy, not a medical cure
  • Might not be for everyone (especially if you don’t like garlic flavor)
  • Avoid if you’re lactose intolerant or sensitive to garlic

💡 Tip

If the taste feels too strong, start with just 1 clove and add a little honey.
