🛒 Ingredients

  • 1 lb (450 g) ground beef (80/20 fat is best for juicy results)
  • 1 small head of lettuce (romaine or iceberg), chopped
  • 1 medium zucchini, sliced or diced
  • 1 small onion, sliced
  • 1 small bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar or American cheese
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Salt & pepper, to taste
  • Optional toppings: sugar‑free pickles, mustard, mayo, sugar‑free ketchup

🍽️ How to Make It

🪶 1. Prep Veggies

  1. Wash and chop the lettuce, zucchini, onion, and bell pepper.
  2. Divide the veggies between 2 large pieces of heavy‑duty foil.

🍔 2. Add Burger Meat

  1. Divide the ground beef into equal portions (4 balls if serving 4).
  2. Place the meat on top of the veggies in each foil pack.

🧂 3. Season

Sprinkle each packet with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.

🥄 4. Smash & Drizzle

  1. Before sealing: press the beef balls down so they’re slightly flat (like smashed burgers).
  2. Drizzle a little olive oil over everything.

Fold the foil over so each packet is sealed tight.

  • Grill: Place packs on medium‑high heat for about 15–20 minutes (flip once).
  • Oven: Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 18–22 minutes.
