Grilled Cheese Sandwich 🥪🧀
The ultimate comfort food—crispy, golden bread with gooey melted cheese inside.


🧾 Ingredients (for 1–2 sandwiches)

  • 2 slices of bread (white, whole wheat, or sourdough)
  • 2–3 slices of cheese (cheddar, American, Swiss, or your favorite)
  • 1–2 tbsp butter (softened)
  • Optional: garlic powder, tomato slices, or cooked bacon

👩‍🍳 Instructions

1. Prep the bread

  • Spread butter evenly on one side of each slice of bread

2. Assemble

  • Place cheese between the unbuttered sides so the buttered sides face out
  • Add optional extras (tomato, bacon)

3. Cook

  • Heat a skillet over medium heat
  • Place sandwich in skillet
  • Cook 2–4 minutes per side until golden brown and cheese melts
  • Press gently with a spatula for even cooking

4. Serve

  • Slice diagonally
  • Serve hot, optionally with tomato soup or pickles
