🧾 Ingredients

For the shrimp:

  • 500g shrimp (peeled & deveined)
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 3–4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • Salt & black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp paprika (optional)
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

For the creamy garlic cheese sauce:

  • 200g spaghetti
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 cup heavy cream (or cooking cream)
  • 1 cup grated cheese (parmesan or mozzarella)
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • 1/2 tsp chili flakes (optional)

👩‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Cook spaghetti:
    Boil in salted water until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water, then drain.
  2. Cook shrimp:
    Heat butter in a pan, add garlic and sauté briefly.
    Add shrimp, season with salt, pepper, paprika.
    Cook 2–3 minutes per side until pink.
    Add lemon juice, then remove and set aside.
  3. Make sauce:
    In the same pan, melt butter and sauté garlic.
    Pour in cream and simmer gently.
    Stir in cheese until melted and smooth.
  4. Combine:
    Add cooked spaghetti to the sauce.
    Toss well, adding a splash of reserved pasta water if needed for silkiness.
  5. Add shrimp back:
    Place shrimp on top or mix in gently.

🍽️ Serve With:

  • Fresh parsley (optional) 🌿
