Crockpot Ham and Potato Casserole 🥔🧀🥓
A creamy, hearty slow-cooker meal that’s perfect for using leftover ham.
🧾 Ingredients (4–6 servings)
- 3 cups cooked ham, diced
- 4–5 potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom or cream of chicken soup
- ½ cup milk
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp salt (optional, ham is already salty)
- 1 tbsp butter

- Prepare the crockpot
Lightly grease the slow cooker with butter or cooking spray. - Layer ingredients
- Add a layer of sliced potatoes
- Sprinkle ham and onions
- Add a handful of cheese
- Repeat layers
Continue layering potatoes, ham, onion, and cheese until everything is used. - Mix the sauce
In a bowl combine:- cream soup
- milk
- garlic powder
- pepper
- Pour over casserole
Spread the mixture evenly over the layers. - Cook
- LOW: 6–7 hours
- HIGH: 3–4 hours
Until potatoes are tender.
- Finish
Sprinkle extra cheese on top during the last 15 minutes and let it melt.

Serve hot with a simple green salad or steamed vegetables.
