Crockpot Ham and Potato Casserole 🥔🧀🥓
A creamy, hearty slow-cooker meal that’s perfect for using leftover ham.


🧾 Ingredients (4–6 servings)

  • 3 cups cooked ham, diced
  • 4–5 potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom or cream of chicken soup
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp salt (optional, ham is already salty)
  • 1 tbsp butter

👩‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Prepare the crockpot
    Lightly grease the slow cooker with butter or cooking spray.
  2. Layer ingredients
    • Add a layer of sliced potatoes
    • Sprinkle ham and onions
    • Add a handful of cheese
  3. Repeat layers
    Continue layering potatoes, ham, onion, and cheese until everything is used.
  4. Mix the sauce
    In a bowl combine:

    • cream soup
    • milk
    • garlic powder
    • pepper
  5. Pour over casserole
    Spread the mixture evenly over the layers.
  6. Cook
    • LOW: 6–7 hours
    • HIGH: 3–4 hours
      Until potatoes are tender.
  7. Finish
    Sprinkle extra cheese on top during the last 15 minutes and let it melt.

🍽️ Serving idea:
Serve hot with a simple green salad or steamed vegetables.

  • ½ cup sour cream for extra creaminess
  • Broccoli or peas for vegetables
  • Crushed crackers or breadcrumbs on top for a little crunch
