Here’s a simple, comforting Crockpot Chicken and Gravy recipe that comes out creamy, tender, and perfect over rice, mashed potatoes, or noodles.


🍗 Crockpot Chicken and Gravy

🧾 Ingredients

  • 2–3 chicken breasts (or thighs for juicier meat)
  • 2 packets chicken gravy mix (or about 2 cups prepared gravy)
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup (or cream of mushroom)
  • 1 cup chicken broth (adjust for thickness)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Salt & black pepper (to taste)
  • Optional: sliced mushrooms, thyme, or parsley

🍳 Instructions

  1. Add chicken to the crockpot.
  2. In a bowl, mix:
    • gravy mix
    • cream of chicken soup
    • chicken broth
    • seasonings
  3. Pour mixture over chicken.
  4. Cover and cook:
    • LOW: 6–7 hours
    • HIGH: 3–4 hours
  5. When done, shred chicken with two forks and stir into gravy.
  6. Let it sit 10–15 minutes to thicken.

🍽️ How to serve

  • Mashed potatoes (classic)
  • Steamed rice
  • Egg noodles
  • Biscuits or bread

💡 Tips

  • Thighs = more tender and flavorful
  • Too thick? Add a splash of broth
  • Too thin? Cook uncovered for 20–30 minutes at the end
