Creamy fried bombs

Here’s a delicious way to make Creamy Fried Bombs—crispy on the outside, soft and creamy inside 😄


🍽️ Creamy Fried Bombs (Cheese-Stuffed Bites)

🧂 Ingredients

  • 1 cup mashed potatoes (or thick dough)
  • ½ cup cream cheese or mozzarella
  • 2 tbsp chopped herbs (optional)
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • 1 egg
  • ½ cup flour
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • Oil for deep frying

🔪 Instructions

1. Make the filling

Mix cream cheese (or mozzarella) with a little salt, pepper, and herbs. Roll into small balls and chill for 10–15 minutes.


2. Prepare the coating

Set up 3 bowls:

  • Flour
  • Beaten egg
  • Breadcrumbs

3. Form the bombs

Take mashed potatoes (or dough), flatten in your palm, place a cheese ball inside, and seal tightly into a smooth ball.


4. Coat

Dip each ball:

  • First in flour
  • Then egg
  • Then breadcrumbs (for extra crunch, double coat if you want)

5. Fry

Heat oil on medium heat and fry until golden brown (about 2–3 minutes).
Drain on paper towels.


😋 Serve hot with:

  • Garlic mayo
  • Chili sauce
  • Ketchup

💡 Tips

  • Chill the balls before frying so they don’t break
  • Don’t use high heat or the outside will burn before the inside melts
  • Add a small cube of cheese inside for a gooey center
