Cracker Barrel Meatloaf

Here’s a copycat, hearty recipe for Cracker Barrel–style Meatloaf:


🥩 Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp dried thyme or Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 cup ketchup (for topping)
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar (for topping)

🍳 Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven: 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
  2. Mix meatloaf: In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, onion, garlic, eggs, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and thyme. Mix gently until just combined.
  3. Shape & bake: Transfer mixture to the loaf pan and shape into a loaf.
  4. Prepare topping: Mix ketchup and brown sugar, then spread evenly over the meatloaf.
  5. Bake: Bake for 50–60 minutes until cooked through. Let rest 5–10 minutes before slicing.
  6. Serve: Slice and enjoy with mashed potatoes, green beans, or your favorite sides.

🔥 Tip: For extra flavor, add a dash of smoked paprika or a splash of apple cider vinegar to the ketchup topping.
