Here’s a simple and delicious Corn Fritters Recipe—crispy on the outside, tender and sweet on the inside. 🌽✨


Ingredients (makes about 12 fritters)

  • 1 cup fresh or frozen corn kernels
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup cornmeal
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 tbsp melted butter or oil
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Mix dry ingredients:
    • In a bowl, combine flour, cornmeal, baking powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Add wet ingredients:
    • Stir in egg, milk, and melted butter until smooth.
    • Fold in corn kernels.
  3. Heat oil:
    • Heat about 2–3 tbsp oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  4. Cook fritters:
    • Drop spoonfuls of batter into the skillet.
    • Flatten slightly with a spatula.
    • Cook 2–3 minutes per side until golden brown.
  5. Serve:
    • Drain on paper towels.
    • Serve warm with honey, sour cream, or your favorite dipping sauce.
