🍗 Chicken Drumsticks – Juicy & Flavorful

Chicken drumsticks are a super versatile, budget-friendly, and delicious cut. They’re great baked, grilled, fried, or slow-cooked. The dark meat stays juicy and packed with flavor!


🧾 Ingredients (Simple Oven-Baked Version)

  • 6–8 chicken drumsticks
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • Optional: chili powder or herbs (thyme, rosemary)

👩‍🍳 Instructions

1. Prep the chicken

  • Pat drumsticks dry
  • Toss with oil, spices, and herbs

2. Bake

  • Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F)
  • Arrange drumsticks on a baking tray lined with parchment
  • Bake 35–45 min, turning halfway, until golden and cooked through

3. Serve

  • Let rest 5 minutes
  • Serve with dipping sauce or a side

🔥 Tips

  • Crispy skin: Rub a little extra oil and make sure the chicken isn’t overcrowded
  • Juicy inside: Don’t overcook; internal temp should be 75°C (165°F)
  • Extra flavor: Marinate for 1–2 hours in garlic, paprika, lemon, and olive oil
