🍫 Caramel Ribbon Crunch Bars

These bars are a sweet, crunchy, and indulgent treat—layers of caramel, chocolate, and crispy cereal or cookie base make them irresistible!


🧾 Ingredients (Makes about 12 bars)

  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs or crushed cookies
  • 1 cup butter (melted)
  • 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • ½ cup crunchy cereal (like Rice Krispies)
  • Optional: sea salt for sprinkling

👩‍🍳 Instructions

1️⃣ Prepare the base

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Mix graham cracker crumbs (or crushed cookies) with melted butter.
  • Press mixture into a lined 9×13-inch baking pan.
  • Bake 8–10 minutes until slightly golden.

2️⃣ Add the caramel layer

  • Pour sweetened condensed milk over the baked crust.
  • Drizzle or spread caramel sauce evenly on top.
  • Sprinkle crunchy cereal over caramel for extra texture.

3️⃣ Add chocolate topping

  • Sprinkle chocolate chips over the caramel layer.
  • Place pan in oven for 2–3 minutes just to slightly melt chocolate.
  • Use a spatula to swirl chocolate into caramel if desired.

4️⃣ Cool and cut

  • Let bars cool at room temperature for 1 hour, then refrigerate 30–60 minutes until set.
  • Cut into squares or bars.

  • Use homemade caramel for richer flavor.
  • Add nuts for extra crunch and texture.
  • Serve slightly chilled for perfect sliceable bars.
