Ingredients (serves 2–3)

  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Cajun seasoning (adjust to taste)
  • ½ tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional, for extra heat)
  • Juice of 1 lemon

Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta
    • Boil pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside, reserving a bit of pasta water.
  2. Sauté Shrimp
    • Heat butter and olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
    • Add garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
    • Sprinkle Cajun seasoning on shrimp and add to the skillet. Cook 2–3 minutes per side, until shrimp are pink and opaque.
  3. Finish the Sauce
    • Squeeze in lemon juice and add parsley. Toss everything together.
    • If it seems dry, add a splash of the reserved pasta water.
  4. Combine with Pasta
    • Toss the cooked pasta with the shrimp and sauce. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
  5. Serve & Enjoy
    • Garnish with extra parsley or a little grated Parmesan if you like. Serve immediately with crusty bread or a side salad.
