Cabbage Steaks (Crispy, Roasted & Flavorful) 🥬✨

A super simple, budget-friendly dish that turns cabbage into something seriously delicious!


📝 Ingredients:

  • 1 large cabbage
  • 2–3 tbsp olive oil (or melted butter)
  • Salt & black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder (or fresh garlic)
  • 1 tsp paprika

Optional: parmesan cheese, chili flakes, lemon juice


👩‍🍳 Instructions:

1. Slice the Cabbage

  • Cut into thick slices (about ¾–1 inch) to make “steaks”

2. Season

  • Place on a baking tray
  • Brush both sides with oil or butter
  • Sprinkle salt, pepper, garlic, and paprika

3. Roast

  • Bake at 200°C (400°F) for 25–30 minutes
  • Flip halfway through for even browning

4. Serve

  • Edges should be crispy and caramelized
  • Add parmesan or a squeeze of lemon if you like

🔥 Flavor Variations:

  • Cheesy: add parmesan in the last 10 minutes
  • Spicy: chili flakes or hot sauce
  • Garlic Butter: use butter + fresh garlic
  • Desi Style: turmeric, cumin, coriander, and green chili 🌶️

💡 Tips:

  • Don’t slice too thin—they’ll fall apart
  • High heat = better crispiness
  • Use parchment paper for easy cleanup
