Bone-In Pork Chop 🍖🔥

Juicy, flavorful, and tender—the bone helps keep the meat moist while cooking!

🧾 Ingredients

  • 2 bone-in pork chops
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp dried thyme (or rosemary)
  • Salt & black pepper (to taste)
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • Optional: lemon juice or a pinch of chili flakes

👩‍🍳 How to Cook (Pan-Seared + Oven Method)

1. Season

  • Pat pork chops dry
  • Rub with olive oil, garlic, paprika, thyme, salt, and pepper

2. Sear

  • Heat a pan over medium-high
  • Sear chops 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown

3. Add butter

  • Add butter and spoon it over the chops for extra flavor

4. Finish in oven

  • Transfer to oven at 190°C (375°F)
  • Bake for 10–15 minutes until fully cooked

5. Rest

  • Let them rest for 5 minutes before serving

🌡️ Safe Cooking Tip

  • Cook until internal temperature reaches 63°C (145°F), then rest (recommended by the US Department of Agriculture)

🍽️ Serving Ideas

  • Mashed potatoes or roasted veggies
  • Rice or buttered noodles
  • Fresh salad or coleslaw

🌟 Flavor Variations

  • Garlic butter: Add extra butter + herbs
  • Sweet & savory: Brush with honey or brown sugar glaze
  • Spicy: Add chili powder or hot sauce

If you want, I can give you a grilled version, air fryer pork chops, or a creamy sauce recipe to go with it 😋
