Bologna sandwich

Here’s a classic Bologna Sandwich — simple, quick, and very satisfying.


🧾 Ingredients (1 sandwich)

  • 2 slices of bread (white, wheat, or sandwich bread)
  • 1–2 slices bologna
  • 1 tbsp mayonnaise or mustard (or both)
  • Optional: lettuce, tomato, cheese, pickles

🥪 Instructions

  1. Spread the condiments
    • Spread mayonnaise, mustard, or your preferred sauce on one or both slices of bread.
  2. Add the bologna
    • Place the bologna slices on the bread.
  3. Add toppings (optional)
    • Add lettuce, tomato, cheese, or pickles for extra flavor.
  4. Assemble the sandwich
    • Place the second slice of bread on top.
  5. Serve
    • Cut in half if desired and enjoy.

💡 Popular variation – Fried Bologna Sandwich

  • Fry the bologna in a skillet for 1–2 minutes per side (cut a small slit in the slice so it doesn’t curl).
  • Place on toasted bread with cheese and mustard for a warm, crispy sandwich.
