🥚 Boiled Egg – Simple, Healthy, and Delicious

Boiled eggs are one of the easiest and most nutritious foods you can make—perfect for breakfast, snacks, or adding to meals.


🧾 How to Boil Eggs

1. Place eggs in a pot

  • Put eggs in a single layer
  • Add enough water to cover them by about 1 inch

2. Bring to a boil

  • Heat on medium-high until water starts boiling

3. Turn off heat & cover

  • Once boiling, turn off heat and cover the pot

4. Let sit (based on doneness)

  • Soft-boiled: 6–7 minutes (runny yolk)
  • Medium: 8–9 minutes
  • Hard-boiled: 10–12 minutes (fully set yolk)

5. Cool

  • Transfer eggs to ice water for 5 minutes
  • This stops cooking and makes peeling easier

🔥 Tips

  • Older eggs peel easier than very fresh ones
  • Gently tap and roll egg to crack shell before peeling
  • Add a pinch of salt or vinegar to help prevent cracking
