Here’s a flavorful and easy Black Pepper Beef recipe you can make at home—just like restaurant-style stir fry 🔥


🥩 Black Pepper Beef (Quick Stir-Fry)

🛒 Ingredients:

  • 300g beef (thinly sliced)
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tsp black pepper (freshly crushed for best flavor)
  • 1 onion (sliced)
  • 1 bell pepper (sliced)
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce (extra for sauce)
  • ½ tsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • ¼ cup water or beef broth

👩‍🍳 Instructions:

1. Marinate the beef

  • Mix beef with:
    • 1 tbsp soy sauce
    • cornstarch
    • a pinch of black pepper
  • Let it sit for 15–20 minutes.

2. Cook the beef

  • Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan or wok.
  • Fry beef on high heat until browned (don’t overcrowd).
  • Remove and set aside.

3. Stir-fry veggies

  • In the same pan, add another tbsp oil.
  • Add garlic → sauté until fragrant.
  • Toss in onions and bell peppers → cook 2–3 minutes (keep slightly crunchy).

4. Make the sauce

  • Add:
    • oyster sauce
    • soy sauce
    • sugar
    • water/broth
    • lots of black pepper 🌶️
  • Stir well.

5. Combine everything

  • Add beef back to the pan.
  • Stir-fry for 2–3 minutes until coated and glossy.

🍽️ Serve with:

  • Steamed rice 🍚
  • Fried rice
  • Noodles

🔥 Tips:

  • Use freshly cracked black pepper for that bold spicy kick
  • Slice beef thin against the grain for tenderness
  • High heat = best flavor (restaurant-style)
