Cabbage Steaks (Crispy, Roasted & Flavorful) 🥬✨
A super simple, budget-friendly dish that turns cabbage into something seriously delicious!
📝 Ingredients:
- 1 large cabbage
- 2–3 tbsp olive oil (or melted butter)
- Salt & black pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder (or fresh garlic)
- 1 tsp paprika
Optional: parmesan cheese, chili flakes, lemon juice
👩🍳 Instructions:
1. Slice the Cabbage
- Cut into thick slices (about ¾–1 inch) to make “steaks”
2. Season
- Place on a baking tray
- Brush both sides with oil or butter
- Sprinkle salt, pepper, garlic, and paprika
3. Roast
- Bake at 200°C (400°F) for 25–30 minutes
- Flip halfway through for even browning
4. Serve
- Edges should be crispy and caramelized
- Add parmesan or a squeeze of lemon if you like
🔥 Flavor Variations:
- Cheesy: add parmesan in the last 10 minutes
