Peach Cobbler Pound Cake 🍑🍰
This dessert combines the rich buttery texture of a pound cake with the sweet, spiced flavor of Peach cobbler.


🧾 Ingredients

For the Cake

  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract

For the Peach Topping

  • 2 cups peaches, peeled and diced (fresh or canned, drained)
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • ½ tsp nutmeg
  • 1 tbsp butter

Optional Glaze

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2–3 tbsp milk or peach juice
  • ½ tsp vanilla

👩‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Prepare the oven
    Preheat to 350°F (175°C) and grease a bundt or loaf pan.
  2. Make the cake batter
    • Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
    • Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each.
    • In another bowl mix flour, baking powder, and salt.
    • Add dry ingredients and milk alternately to the butter mixture.
    • Stir in vanilla.
  3. Prepare the peaches
    In a small pan cook peaches with brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and butter for 5 minutes until slightly syrupy.
  4. Assemble
    • Pour half the cake batter into the pan.
    • Spoon half the peach mixture on top.
    • Add remaining batter and finish with remaining peaches.
  5. Bake
    Bake 60–70 minutes, until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Cool
    Let cool in the pan for about 15 minutes, then remove to cool completely.
  7. Add glaze (optional)
    Mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla and drizzle over the cake.

🍑 Tip:
Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for an even more cobbler-style dessert.
