Roasted cauliflower

Roasted Cauliflower is an easy, delicious side dish with crispy edges and a tender center.


Ingredients

  • 1 large head cauliflower, cut into florets
  • 2–3 tablespoons olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
  • ½ teaspoon paprika (optional)
  • Optional: grated Parmesan cheese or a squeeze of lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven
    Heat oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Season
    Place cauliflower florets in a bowl. Toss with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  3. Arrange on pan
    Spread in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  4. Roast
    Bake for 25–30 minutes, turning once halfway through, until golden brown and slightly crispy.
  5. Serve
    Sprinkle with Parmesan or lemon juice if desired and serve warm.

Extra Flavor Ideas

  • Garlic Parmesan: Add Parmesan during the last 5 minutes of roasting.
  • Spicy: Sprinkle chili flakes or cayenne before roasting.
  • Herb: Toss with thyme or rosemary after roasting.

This pairs great with grilled chicken, steak, fish, or pasta and even works as a healthy snack. 🥦
