Teriyaki chicken & broccoli.

Here’s a simple and delicious way to make Teriyaki Chicken & Broccoli at home:

🥢 Ingredients:

  • 2 chicken breasts (cut into bite-sized pieces)
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 tbsp oil (vegetable or olive oil)

For the teriyaki sauce:

  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey or brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch + 2 tbsp water (slurry)

🍳 Instructions:

  1. Cook the chicken:
    Heat oil in a pan, add chicken, and cook until golden and fully done. Remove and set aside.
  2. Cook the broccoli:
    In the same pan, stir-fry broccoli for 3–4 minutes until tender-crisp (add a splash of water to steam if needed).
  3. Make the sauce:
    Add soy sauce, honey, vinegar, garlic, and ginger to the pan. Let it simmer.
    Stir in the cornstarch slurry and cook until the sauce thickens.
  4. Combine:
    Return chicken to the pan, toss everything together until well coated.
  5. Serve:
    Serve hot over rice or noodles. Sprinkle sesame seeds on top if you like.

🔥 Tip:

For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in a little soy sauce and garlic for 20–30 minutes before cooking.
