Tortilla wraps with ground beef

Here’s a simple and tasty way to make tortilla wraps with ground beef:


Ingredients (serves 2–3)

  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1 lb (450 g) ground beef
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp chili powder (optional)
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
  • 1/2 cup chopped lettuce
  • 1 small tomato, diced
  • Sour cream or mayonnaise (optional)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

1. Cook the beef filling

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  • Sauté onion and garlic until soft (~3–4 minutes).
  • Add ground beef and cook until browned.
  • Stir in chili powder, paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper. Cook for another 2–3 minutes.
  • Remove from heat.

2. Assemble the wraps

  • Warm the tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave for a few seconds.
  • Lay a tortilla flat, add a spoonful of beef, some shredded cheese, lettuce, and tomato.
  • Add a drizzle of sour cream or mayonnaise if desired.
  • Fold in the sides and roll tightly.

3. Optional: Grill the wraps

  • Place wraps in a skillet or air fryer for 2–3 minutes per side until golden and slightly crispy.

  • You can add beans, corn, or avocado for extra flavor.
  • For a spicier wrap, add some hot sauce or chopped jalapeños.
  • Wraps are great for meal prep—they stay good in the fridge for 1–2 days.
