Here’s a simple and delicious Pork Roast recipe that turns out tender and flavorful.

🍖 Pork Roast

🛒 Ingredients (Serves 4–6)

  • 3–4 lb pork roast (pork shoulder or pork loin)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3–4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp dried thyme or rosemary
  • 1 onion, cut into chunks
  • 2–3 carrots, chopped (optional)
  • 2–3 potatoes, chopped (optional)
  • 1 cup chicken or vegetable broth

🍳 Instructions

1️⃣ Preheat Oven

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

2️⃣ Season the Pork

Pat the pork roast dry. Rub it with olive oil, garlic, salt, pepper, paprika, and thyme or rosemary.

3️⃣ Prepare the Pan

Place onion, carrots, and potatoes in the bottom of a roasting pan. Put the pork roast on top. Pour the broth into the pan.

4️⃣ Roast

Cover loosely with foil and roast for 1½–2 hours, depending on size, until the internal temperature reaches 145–160°F (63–71°C).

5️⃣ Rest & Serve

Let the roast rest 10–15 minutes before slicing. Serve with the roasted vegetables and pan juices.

💡 Tips

  • For a crispy outside, remove the foil during the last 20 minutes of roasting.
  • Add a honey–mustard glaze during the last 15 minutes for extra flavor.
  • Leftover pork is great for sandwiches, tacos, or fried rice.
