🍗 Italian Dressing Chicken

Italian dressing chicken is a super easy, flavorful dish where chicken is marinated or cooked in Italian dressing, giving it a tangy, herby, and juicy taste. Perfect for quick dinners!

🧾 Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (or thighs)
  • 1 cup Italian dressing (bottled or homemade)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder (optional)
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • Optional: chopped herbs (parsley, basil)

🔥 Instructions

🥘 Oven Method

  1. Marinate: Place chicken in a zip-top bag or bowl. Pour Italian dressing over it and marinate 30 minutes to overnight for extra flavor.
  2. Preheat oven: 180°C (350°F)
  3. Bake: Place chicken in a greased baking dish, pour some dressing over top, and bake 25–30 minutes until cooked through (165°F / 74°C internal temperature).
  4. Serve: Spoon pan juices over chicken. Garnish with fresh herbs.

🍳 Skillet Method

  1. Heat a little oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Cook chicken 6–8 minutes per side until golden and cooked through, adding Italian dressing to the pan for flavor.

💡 Tips

  • Marinating overnight makes it extra juicy
  • Add sliced bell peppers, onions, or zucchini for a one-pan meal
  • Works great shredded over salads, pasta, or sandwiches

If you want, I can give you a “crispy baked Italian chicken” version where the outside is golden and flavorful but still tender inside 😋
