Glazed pork ribs

Posted on March 10, 2026March 10, 2026 by Admin

Here’s a delicious recipe for glazed pork ribs that are tender, sticky, and full of flavor:

Ingredients (serves 4–6):

For the ribs:

  • 2–3 lbs pork ribs (baby back or spare ribs)
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika (optional)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder

For the glaze:

  • ½ cup barbecue sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey or brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard (optional)
  • 1 tsp apple cider vinegar

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven
    • Preheat to 300°F (150°C).
  2. Prep the ribs
    • Remove the thin membrane from the back of the ribs for more tender meat.
    • Season ribs with salt, pepper, smoked paprika, and garlic powder.
  3. Bake the ribs
    • Place ribs on a baking sheet lined with foil.
    • Cover with another piece of foil and bake for 2–2.5 hours until tender.
  4. Make the glaze
    • In a small bowl, mix barbecue sauce, honey, soy sauce, mustard, and vinegar.
  5. Glaze and broil
    • Remove ribs from oven and brush generously with the glaze.
    • Increase oven temperature to 425°F (220°C) or use the broiler.
    • Bake or broil for 10–15 minutes, brushing with extra glaze halfway through, until sticky and caramelized.
  6. Serve
    • Let rest for 5 minutes, then cut into individual ribs.
    • Serve with coleslaw, corn on the cob, or baked potatoes.

💡 Tip: For extra smoky flavor, you can finish the ribs on a grill for a few minutes instead of broiling.

If you want, I can also give a slow-cooker glazed ribs version where the ribs cook low and slow and then get a sticky glaze at the end.

Do you want me to give that version?
