🧄 Garlic soup

Simple, comforting, and packed with flavor—great for cold days or when you want something soothing.


🛒 Ingredients

  • 1 whole head garlic (about 10–12 cloves, peeled)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil or butter
  • 4 cups chicken or vegetable broth
  • 1 slice bread (optional, cubed)
  • 1 egg (optional, for richness)
  • Salt & black pepper to taste
  • Optional: paprika, parsley, lemon juice

👩‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Heat oil/butter in a pot and sauté garlic on low heat until lightly golden (don’t burn it).
  2. Add bread cubes (if using) and toast slightly.
  3. Pour in broth and bring to a gentle boil.
  4. Simmer for 10–15 minutes.
  5. (Optional) Beat the egg and slowly drizzle it in while stirring to create silky strands.
  6. Season with salt, pepper, and a pinch of paprika.
  7. Serve hot with a squeeze of lemon or fresh herbs.

  • Roast the garlic first for a sweeter, milder flavor
  • Add shredded chicken for extra protein
