French Fries 🍟
Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside—one of the most loved snacks in the world!


🥔 Ingredients

  • 3–4 large potatoes
  • Oil for frying (vegetable or canola)
  • Salt (to taste)

👩‍🍳 Classic Deep-Fried Method

1. Cut the potatoes

  • Peel (optional) and slice into thin sticks

2. Soak

  • Soak in cold water for 30 minutes (removes starch → crispier fries)
  • Dry completely before frying

3. First fry

  • Heat oil to 160°C (320°F)
  • Fry for 4–5 minutes (don’t brown yet)
  • Remove and let rest

4. Second fry

  • Increase oil to 190°C (375°F)
  • Fry again until golden and crispy

5. Season

  • Sprinkle salt immediately after frying

  1. Toss cut potatoes with oil and salt
  2. Bake at 220°C (425°F) for 30–40 minutes
  3. Flip halfway for even crispiness
