Light, airy, and filled with creamy goodness—these are classic bakery-style treats you can totally make at home 😋


🛒 Ingredients

For the pastry (choux):

  • 1 cup water
  • ½ cup butter
  • 1 cup flour
  • 4 eggs

For the filling:

  • 1 cup whipped cream or custard

Optional topping:

  • Powdered sugar or chocolate drizzle

1️⃣ Make the choux pastry

  1. In a pot, bring water and butter to a boil.
  2. Add flour all at once, stir quickly until it forms a dough.
  3. Let it cool slightly.
  4. Beat in eggs one at a time until smooth and glossy.

2️⃣ Bake

  1. Spoon or pipe small mounds onto a baking tray.
  2. Bake at 200°C (400°F) for 20–25 minutes.
  3. Do NOT open the oven early—they need steam to puff up!

3️⃣ Fill

  • Let them cool completely
  • Slice or poke a hole and fill with cream or custard

  • Dough should be thick but pipeable
  • Bake until golden and dry (prevents collapsing)
  • Cool in the oven with the door slightly open for best texture
