Chocolate chip cookie

Chocolate Chip Cookies 🍪 are classic sweet cookies that are soft inside, slightly crispy outside, and filled with chocolate chips.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup (225 g) butter, softened
  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup white sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 2 cups chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven
    • Preheat oven to 180 °C (350 °F).
  2. Mix Butter and Sugar
    • In a bowl, beat butter, brown sugar, and white sugar until light and creamy.
  3. Add Eggs and Vanilla
    • Add eggs one at a time and mix well.
    • Stir in vanilla extract.
  4. Mix Dry Ingredients
    • In another bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Combine the Mixture
    • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture and mix well.
    • Fold in the chocolate chips.
  6. Shape the Cookies
    • Scoop tablespoon-sized dough balls and place them on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
  7. Bake
    • Bake for 10–12 minutes until the edges turn golden brown.

Serving

Let the cookies cool for a few minutes and serve with milk 🥛.
