🍲 Chicken noodle soup

A warm, comforting classic—perfect for cozy days or when you’re not feeling your best.


đź›’ Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp oil or butter
  • 1 small onion (chopped)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2 carrots (sliced)
  • 2 celery stalks (optional, sliced)
  • 1–2 cups cooked chicken (shredded)
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup noodles (egg noodles or any you like)
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • Optional: parsley, lemon juice

👩‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pot, sauté onion and garlic until soft.
  2. Add carrots and celery, cook for 3–4 minutes.
  3. Pour in chicken broth and bring to a boil.
  4. Add noodles and cook until tender.
  5. Stir in shredded chicken.
  6. Season with salt, pepper, and a squeeze of lemon (optional).
  7. Simmer a few minutes, then serve hot.
