🥘 Ingredients (serves 2–3)

  • 1 lb (450g) chicken breast or thighs, thinly sliced
  • 3 cups cabbage, chopped
  • 1 medium carrot, julienned (optional)
  • 2–3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce (optional for extra flavor)
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1–2 tbsp vegetable oil for cooking
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • Optional garnish: green onions or sesame seeds

🥄 Instructions

  1. Prepare the chicken
    • Season chicken slices lightly with salt, pepper, and a teaspoon of soy sauce.
  2. Cook the chicken
    • Heat vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat.
    • Stir-fry chicken until cooked through (about 4–5 minutes). Remove and set aside.
  3. Cook the vegetables
    • In the same pan, add garlic and stir-fry 30 seconds until fragrant.
    • Add cabbage (and carrots, if using) and stir-fry 3–4 minutes until just tender but still crisp.
  4. Combine & season
    • Return chicken to the pan.
    • Add soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil. Toss everything together for 1–2 minutes until well coated.
  5. Serve hot
    • Garnish with green onions or sesame seeds if desired.
    • Serve over steamed rice or noodles.
