Ingredients (for 4 servings):

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (or thighs)
  • 1 cup chicken broth (or water with bouillon)
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2–3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp dried thyme or rosemary
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: 1–2 carrots or celery stalks, chopped

Method:

  1. Layer ingredients: Place onions (and optional veggies) at the bottom of the slow cooker. Lay chicken on top. Sprinkle with garlic, paprika, thyme, salt, and pepper.
  2. Add liquid: Pour chicken broth over the chicken.
