Ingredients (Serves 4–6)

  • 1 lb (450g) breakfast sausage or Italian sausage (links or bulk)
  • 1–2 tbsp olive oil (if using bulk sausage)
  • Optional: toothpicks for serving
  • Optional sauces for dipping: honey mustard, BBQ sauce, or ranch

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven (if baking)
    • 375°F (190°C).
    • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. Prepare sausage
    • For links: Cut sausage links into 1–2 inch bite-sized pieces.
    • For bulk sausage: Roll into small 1-inch meatballs.
  3. Cook sausages
    • Oven method: Place sausage bites on the baking sheet and bake 15–20 minutes, turning halfway through, until golden and cooked through.
    • Stovetop method: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add sausage bites and cook, turning occasionally, 10–12 minutes until browned and fully cooked.
  4. Serve
    • Transfer to a platter and serve with toothpicks and your favorite dipping sauces.
