Here’s a classic Tomato Sandwich 🍅🥪 — simple, fresh, and perfect for a quick meal or snack.


Ingredients (Serves 1)

  • 2 slices of bread (white, whole wheat, or your choice)
  • 1–2 ripe tomatoes, sliced
  • 1–2 tsp mayonnaise (optional)
  • Salt & black pepper, to taste
  • Optional: lettuce, basil, or cheese

Instructions

  1. Prepare the bread
    • Toast if you like, or leave soft.
    • Spread mayonnaise on one or both slices if using.
  2. Add tomato slices
    • Layer tomato slices evenly on the bread.
    • Sprinkle with salt and black pepper.
  3. Optional additions
    • Add lettuce, fresh basil, or a slice of cheese for extra flavor.
  4. Assemble & serve
    • Top with the other slice of bread.
    • Slice and enjoy immediately.
