Here’s an easy and comforting way to make Slow Cooker Cabbage—perfect as a side dish or part of a hearty meal. 🥬🍲


🥘 Ingredients

  • 1 medium head of cabbage, chopped
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2–3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 slices bacon, chopped (optional for flavor)
  • 1 cup chicken or vegetable broth
  • 1–2 tbsp butter (optional for richness)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: 1 tsp smoked paprika or caraway seeds

🥄 Instructions

  1. Prepare the cabbage
    Remove the outer leaves, core the cabbage, and chop into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Add to slow cooker
    Layer chopped cabbage, sliced onion, garlic, and optional bacon in the slow cooker.
  3. Add liquid & seasonings
    Pour in broth and sprinkle with salt, pepper, and optional spices. Dot with butter if desired.
