Here’s a classic Chicken Salad recipe—creamy, flavorful, and super versatile. Perfect for sandwiches, wraps, or on a bed of greens.


🥗 Ingredients (Serves 4)

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced (rotisserie chicken works great)
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise (or Greek yogurt for a lighter version)
  • 1 celery stalk, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard (optional, for a little tang)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional add-ins: grapes, dried cranberries, chopped apple, chopped nuts (pecans or almonds), fresh herbs

  1. Prepare Chicken:
    Shred or dice cooked chicken into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Mix Ingredients:
    In a large bowl, combine chicken, mayonnaise, celery, onion, and Dijon mustard if using. Stir until well coated.
  3. Season:
    Add salt and pepper to taste. Mix in optional add-ins like grapes, apples, or nuts for extra flavor and texture.
  4. Chill (Optional):
    Refrigerate for 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld—though it can be served immediately.
  5. Serve:
    Serve on bread, in wraps, or over salad greens.

  • For a healthier version, swap half or all of the mayo with Greek yogurt.
