🥔 Baked Potato
A classic comfort side that’s fluffy on the inside, crispy on the outside, and super versatile for toppings!
🧾 Ingredients (Serves 1–4)
- 4 medium russet potatoes
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt to taste
- Optional toppings: butter, sour cream, shredded cheese, bacon bits, chives
👩🍳 Instructions
1️⃣ Prep the potatoes
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Scrub potatoes clean and pat dry.
- Rub with olive oil and sprinkle with salt.
2️⃣ Bake the potatoes
- Place potatoes directly on oven rack or a baking sheet.
- Bake 45–60 minutes until skin is crispy and a fork easily pierces the potato.
3️⃣ Serve
- Cut a slit in the top, fluff the inside with a fork, and add your favorite toppings.
🍽️ Tips
- For extra crispy skin, brush with a little more olive oil halfway through baking.
- Microwave first for quick prep: 5–7 minutes, then bake for 20 minutes for crispiness.
- Sweet or regular potatoes can be used for a twist.
