🦀 Seafood Boil
A seafood boil is a fun, flavorful, and communal meal where shrimp, crab, crawfish, corn, and potatoes are boiled together with spices—perfect for gatherings!
🧾 Ingredients (Serves 4–6)
- 1 lb shrimp (peeled and deveined)
- 1 lb crab legs or crawfish
- 4 small potatoes
- 2 ears of corn (cut into halves or thirds)
- 1–2 smoked sausages (sliced)
- 1 onion (quartered)
- 4–5 cloves garlic
- 3–4 tbsp Old Bay seasoning or seafood boil seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: lemon wedges, butter, hot sauce
👩🍳 Instructions
1️⃣ Boil the potatoes and corn
- Fill a large pot with water, add Old Bay, onion, garlic, salt, and pepper.
- Bring to a boil, add potatoes. Cook 10–12 minutes, then add corn. Cook 5 more minutes.
2️⃣ Add sausage and seafood
- Add sliced sausage, crab legs, or crawfish.
- Add shrimp last, cooking 2–3 minutes until pink and opaque.
3️⃣ Drain and serve
- Drain the boil and pour onto a large platter or newspaper for a communal feast.
- Serve with lemon wedges, melted butter, or your favorite dipping sauce.

- For extra flavor, add a splash of beer to the boiling water.
- Adjust seasoning to taste—spicier for a Cajun kick.
