🍰 Big Mama’s Cinnamon Roll Cake
This is a soft, sweet, and gooey cinnamon cake that tastes just like a giant cinnamon roll — perfect for breakfast or dessert!
🧾 Ingredients
Cake
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 cup milk
- ⅓ cup vegetable oil
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Cinnamon Swirl
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 1 tbsp cinnamon
- 2 tbsp melted butter
Glaze
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2–3 tsp milk
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
👩🍳 Instructions
1️⃣ Preheat oven
- Set oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a 9×9-inch baking pan.
2️⃣ Make the cake batter
- In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk milk, oil, eggs, and vanilla.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients until smooth.
3️⃣ Add the cinnamon swirl
- Pour half of the batter into the pan.
- Sprinkle half of the brown sugar-cinnamon mixture.
- Pour the remaining batter on top, then sprinkle the rest of the cinnamon sugar.
- Drizzle melted butter over the top.
4️⃣ Swirl the layers
- Use a knife or skewer to gently swirl the cinnamon sugar through the batter.
5️⃣ Bake
- Bake 35–40 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
6️⃣ Make the glaze
- Mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla until smooth.
- Drizzle over warm cake.

- Slice into squares like a cake.
- Serve warm with coffee or milk.
