Mango habanero and honey mustard

Here are two tasty sauces you can make at home: Mango Habanero and Honey Mustard. Both are great for chicken, wings, sandwiches, or dipping.


🥭 Mango Habanero Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 ripe mango, peeled and diced
  • 1–2 habanero peppers (seeds removed for less heat)
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp lime juice
  • 1 tbsp vinegar (apple cider or white)
  • 1 clove garlic
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Add mango, habanero, honey, lime juice, vinegar, garlic, and salt to a blender.
  2. Blend until smooth.
  3. Pour into a small saucepan and simmer for 5–10 minutes to thicken slightly.
  4. Let cool before using.

💡 Great for: chicken wings, grilled shrimp, tacos, or dipping sauce.


🍯 Honey Mustard Sauce

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup mustard (yellow or Dijon)
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise (optional for creaminess)
  • 1 tsp lemon juice or vinegar
  • Pinch of salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients in a bowl until smooth.
  2. Taste and adjust sweetness or tanginess if needed.
  3. Chill for 15 minutes before serving.
